Dear Miyuki, I just came back to Australia from Japan on our honeymoon. My wife and I really enjoyed our time in Japan. As we went during the children summer holidays, there was a lot of activities, events and exhibition going on and we had fun exploring them. We also meet up with a japanese family which my wife stayed with during a exchange program and they brought us to see a local festival where they splash water on a shrine carried by different groups of people to the temple. Japan have many unqiue and interesting places and shops, each area was different and have new things to explore and see. The people were friendly and even thou it was crowded, everyone was orderly and polite. However, it is because of your excellent service to assist us by sending us the Studio Ghibli museum tickets that we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. We were able to experience the magic of Studio Ghibli and love the short cartoon film they showed inside. Dear Mika I just want to thank you for organising the 4 day holiday in Nakasendo and Takayama. Both Jan and Heather and I had a fabulous time and the accommodation particularly in Takayama was lovely. Both areas offered us the opportunity to walk in the forests and enjoy lovely food. Dear Mende, We are back from our Japan tour and I thought you might be interested in some feedback. We thoroughly enjoyed Hokkaido. You organised a wonderful trip for my family. We specially enjoyed Noboribetsu. The hotel onsen was just divine, the service was impeccable and the food spectacular and delicious. Our hotel in Sapporo, the Sapporo Grand, was also wonderful. We enjoyed the wonderful service and attention we received in the executive lounge. I have to commend our English speaking guide Eri Moriuchi. She was delightful and so very helpful. Our driver Mr. Daimo was also wonderful to us, a very good and safe driver, his van always clean. We were sad to leave them behind, as we were on our own in Aomori/Sendai and Tokyo. We were very well served while we had them in Hokkaido, so we missed the special service when we left them. Many thanks for organising a superb tour for us. Our hotel in Osaka, The Ritz Carlton, was excellent. The hotel in Aomori was quite basic but clean and comfortable. The beds however were hard and lumpy. I had to sleep on top of the quilts to get comfortable. The hotel in Sendai was very well located, just next to the train station and shopping area, however was clean but small, the bathroom even smaller. The Tokyo Courtyard Marriot was quite pleasant and well located in the Ginza area. The room/bathroom also quite small, but clean. Best regards, Carmen

Dear Koyomi, We are back from our 21 day trip and we just wanted to say that it was an excellent trip in all respects and we are very happy we went. A lot of walking but there was a lot to see and it was all worthwhile. Ray was very pleased the trip went to Nagasaki,a smaller city with its little trams going up and down the main streets and lots of history.Lorna was pleased to visit Osaka and Kyoto which allowed us to see our home stay friends of 20 or so years ago.The weather was mostly very good but it turned cold on the northern island.The tour directors were still able to make the most of our stay in Hakodate and Sapporo including a visit to a remarkable chocolate factory and the ski jump at Sapporo. On the last day in Tokyo we were able to arrange a late check out at the Shinagawa Hotel At 1800 Yen per hour and we took an extra 4 hours which,for us, was well worthwhile. Lastly thank you very much for your help. Everything went very smoothly from the initial arrangements, supply of documents and the trip itself. Incidentally from 1/8 Qantas will fly direct from Brisbane to Tokyo and return.The flight ex Brisbane will be a much more convenient time but we are pleased we did not wait. Regards Ray
